Developed the 32mm digital media processes in Boulder. Communicated the technical know-how to the Far East. Trained the multidisciplinary engineering staff in SPC, DOE, FMEA, and correlation of manufacturing process variables to product performance, yield and strategic cost management. Doubled the production volume (to hit 1 MM units/month) over a 6-month period, improved system cumulative yields by 40% and reduced product costs by 50%.

Solved a field reliability issue with cartridge assembly adhesive that was not curing using the existing UV light source and in turn, reduced equipment throughput by 25% and required an additional secondary UV pass.

Appointed by the COO to develop, implement & audit quality assurance systems in offshore manufacturing sites (based in Asia) to meet/exceed customer requirements and specifications.
