Trained the multidisciplinary engineering staff in SPC, DOE, FMEA, and correlation of manufacturing process variables to product performance, yield and strategic cost management. Doubled the production volume (to hit 1 MM units/month) over a 6-month period, improved system cumulative yields by 40% and reduced product costs by 50%.

Solved a field reliability issue with cartridge assembly adhesive that was not curing using the existing UV light source and in turn, reduced equipment throughput by 25% and required an additional secondary UV pass.

Appointed by the COO to develop, implement & audit quality assurance systems in offshore manufacturing sites (based in Asia) to meet/exceed customer requirements and specifications.
