Production Superintendent -- Supply Chain Coordinator – Soy Polymers

Successfully started up new process in food grade facility and transitioned customers and supply chain to new technology products from China, without any supply interruptions.

Manage production schedules in China and inventory management worldwide for the Soy Polymer business. In addition, also responsible for production, technical & trial support for process & product related issues at the China plant as well as addressing any customer product complaints.

Review and manage demand plans with account managers to determine customer requirements for SKU’s, volume, and quality to insure supply needs are met while minimizing inventories

Currently, project lead in transitioning technology and production of Soy Polymer business to US (Memphis, TN) with savings of $5,000,000+ annually. Started up Feb. 2016.

Managed site operations producing soy protein products for industrial use in the paper & board, décor ink and adhesive industries; includes responsibilities for safety & core values, budgeting & cost controls, product quality, capital, facilities, people, etc.

Safely led 40 plant production and lab employees (represented by the USW union) and 6 supervisor and technical employees
