Subject: Letter of recommendation for Jerry Martin
I have had the opportunity to work with Jerry Martin for approximately eighteen months.
I initially hired Jerry as a Production Supervisor. Jerry was responsible for all production
related aspects on five aerosol fill lines with a total crew of approximately eighty to one
hundred employees. He was also responsible for coordinating the production flow with
several support departments to ensure a positive end result. He was very successful in all
of these duties.
During this time frame, I found Jerry to be thorough, organized, and results oriented. His
entire team respected him and was willing to do anything Jerry asked as they knew he
had the facilities best interests in mind. This reflects on his leadership abilities, his
ability to execute a plan, as well as the intellect to deviate from the schedule when
needed. Additionally, his required reports were always complete and informative.
I later observed Jerry functioning as the Warehouse Manager. Before his arrival in this
position, the Production Department was often times affected by work orders not being
issued the required components needed to complete the quantity contracted. This would
result in customers not receiving the full amount of the product ordered. Through Jerry's
coaching and organizational efforts, this problem was resolved at the warehouse which
resulted in increased productivity in the Production Department.
Jerry would be an asset to any company lucky enough to hire him.
Please feel free to contact me at 850-***-**** if you would like to discuss any aspects of Jerry's ability or performance.
