PROFILE

Fire & Safety Technician: Prevention of fire, identifying the area for fire hazards, maintaining the Fire protection equipments which include the automatic fire fighting system like Deluge system, Sprinkler system which covers the fire protection to the aero planes, hangars and NAF 125 suppressed fire protection system to the valuable equipments in the Site.

Fireman / Firefighter in Fire Department: Present Duties include but are not limited to fire suppression in structural as well as wild land environments and emergency medical services under highly stressful emergency conditions. Also, fire prevention, public education, vehicle and station maintenance under the supervision of a Fire Supervisor, always focusing on providing quality customer service.

JOB DESCRIPTION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION AND PERSONAL DETAILS

I. FIREMAN/FIRE FIGHTER: EHS FIRE & RESCUE DEPARTMENT

a.Fire Emergencies Handled:

Residential fires in Jebel Ali Village and DPA/FZ camps.

Office Fires, Warehouse fires, Small and major tank fires, Product pool fires within process and manufacturing areas, Floating spill fires, Vehicles involved in fire etc.

L.P.G flammable and combustible liquids spill fires at berths/ jetties.

b. Non-Fire Emergencies Handled

Hazmat operation

Preventive standby duties, Preventive escort duties, Helipad standby duties etc.

Testing and maintenance of fire extinguishers installed in DPA as well as Free Zone Companies.

Pre-incident planning (Table-top and Joint Fire Exercises)

Training in Basic Fire Fighting to DPA and Free Zone Company employees

Inspection of DPA & Free Zone buildings

Compliance with requirements of EMS as per ISO 140001 standard

c. Functions include:
