Gasoline Trader, Swaps Trading Team Feb 2016 – Present

Set up the gasoline and naphtha swaps trading desk from scratch to expand CSC’s oil derivatives product coverage. Since the beginning of trading in Feb we have made over 10% on capital employed through a combination of market making and taking proprietary positions.

Created a risk system to view and quantify market risk in all Light Ends derivative products.

oNegotiating Brokerage Agreements and Fees

As part of establishing the desk I had to arrange and negotiate agreements with various interdealer brokers and clearers.

Light Ends Trader Jun 2016 – Feb 2016

I joined Oak Capital to help establish the Light Ends trading book, trading both gasoline and naphtha.

I helped to develop us in the market by building relationships with brokers and direct counterparties.

I contributed significant PNL to the book and developed the company into one of the top market makers in Light Ends.

Fuel Oil Trader, Oil Derivatives July 2014 – Jun 2016

Joined as a Junior Trader before quickly moving up to be secondary trader on the desk.

The Junior Trader program at Mandara Capital is designed to get you trading and contributing value to the desk as quickly as possible.

Initially I was responsible for back and middle office work including daily PNL calculation, position reconciliation and keeping track of margin and exchange risk.

After being quickly promoted to secondary trader I worked direct under the head of desk trading OTC fuel oil swaps implementing discretionary strategies to profit from arbitrage and relative value opportunities.
