Senior Procurement & Civil Estimator

Duties and Tasks:

- Review and Study Tenders during bidding / Civil and Arch. Part, including the following:

Review Proposal Specifications and Drawings, Attend pre-Bid Meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

Investigate site before Bid, identifying waste area and dump sites.

Preparing of time sheet and road map for the personnel assigned to prepare estimates.

Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, Subcontractors, Productivity analysis report and man hour’s figures

Determine critical path schedule and sequence of work

Investigate value engineering options

Prepare estimate by calculating complete take-off of scope of work; price work item.

Send Requests for Quotation to vendors/ Subcontractors

Review terms and conditions of subcontractor and Vendor Quotes; Serve as a liaison with subcontractors and vendors during the bidding process

Maintain files of analysis documents as back-up for estimate figures, including accurate information on prices from suppliers

Analyze and break down items based on collected data related to tender and estimate the direct cost.

Review all pricing with supervisor

Provide technical support to personnel preparing estimates.

Provide technical support to personnel preparing technical proposal

(Method statements, Project Plan, Work Schedule, Organization charts, Equipment and Labor deployment charts, etc.)
