ACADEMIC TRAINING:
Master’s Degree in Mathematics (specialty: Statistics). Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 1994- 1998.
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 1987-1990). It’s composed of three years.
The final work of this Degree: “Statistical Study about child Spanish population operated on adenoids”

COMPLEMENTARY TRAINING:
“Oracle DDBB Administrator” at the Centro de Formación en Tecnologías Madrid Sur imparted by Oracle staff. (90 hours). The course was divided in three modules of 30 hours ea; the first one about SQL language (user level) and the others, DBA I y DBA II. Madrid, February-March 2008.
“Data Bases in-depth study: design and SQL language” at E.U. de Informática (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Madrid October - December 2002 (200 hours)).
“Unix and programming in C and C++” at E.T.S.I. de Telecomunicación (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Madrid June - October 2002 (300 hours)
In 1999-2000, I signed on the doctorate of Mathematical Sciences in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the specialty of Statistics and Operational Research. I only did three credits of the subject:

First course (32 credits of 48) in the doctorate: Mathematical Engineering, two-year period 1998 - 2000, of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, in the specialty of Statistical Sciences and Techniques. While I was studying Statistics (Mathematics), I also did two (of the seven subjects) of the specialty of Operational Research:

OTHERS KNOWLEDGES:
Programming languages: FORTRAN 90 (Level: advanced user), C, C++. Statistical Packages: STATGRAPHICS, QSB, BMDP, SPSS, S-Plus. (Level: Expertise). With STATGRAPHICS y BMDP, I carried out a fair amount of introductory tasks; however I’ve worked with SPSS mainly, because SPSS was a subject in the Bachelor's Degree as well as I did the final work of this Degree using it. I’ve used SPSS in jobs and studies I’ve carried out as a freelance, using this statistical package exclusively or sometimes as the first step before programming. I’ve also worked with S-Plus for two years.

I’ve been self employed until March 2007.
March 2000 - December 2001: Fundación Agustín de Bethencourt took me of as Statistical Researcher. My workplace was the Centro de Estudios de Puertos y Costas (Center of Studies on Harbors and Shores) (of CEDEX) of the Ministerio de Fomento (Public Works Department). Simultaneously, since 1990, I’ve carried out a quite a lot of case studies in Sampling and Statistics in Medicine. For example: “Sample for Spanish population with arterial hypertension” or “Effect of Levodope in chronic treatment of Parkinson’s disease”, as well as study about a drug (including placebo) for a pharmaceutical company.
Teacher: “Statistics: an Introduction”, “Theoretic and Business Statistics” and “Operative Methods and Models of Business Management” to students of the following Master’s Degree: in Economics, in Business Studies and in Business Administration and Management in several academies. (1991- 2002).
Teacher: “Algebra” and “Differential Calculus and Integral Calculus” in an academy for students of Architecture. (1992-1995)
