-Integral member of the Operating System group at USC Hyperloop team. We are currently working together to build a pod and compete in the SpaceX Hyperloop competition.

Intern: Linux Kernel System Software Engineer at Akamai Technologies (May 2015 – August 2015)

-Worked on Linux kernel, which is the foundation of the Akamai software stack. Enhanced and developed the Linux kernel to suite Akamai needs. Worked extensively on the TCP/IP network stack using packetdrill.

Research and Development Software Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks, Bangalore, India (November 2012 - July 2014)

-Worked in the Agile fashion, on L2/L3 layer protocols for eNodeB (Base Transceiver Station) in 4G/LTE - Worked on applications which are deployed in the host side of the eNodeB as well as on Fastpath to ensure timely delivery of IP packets.

PROJECTS

Smart Home Hub

-Design and implement an embedded system- Smart Security Beacon, to monitor domestic environment using Intel Galileo boards, Arduino and python. The system also communicates with the user over internet.

Autonomous Networks Research Group [Contiki, C, RIME communication stack]

-Partly in collaboration with General Motors, developed protocols, which will help cars on the road to talk to each other, using Contiki-the open source OS for Internet of Things.

Implemented the basic building blocks of Weenix Operating System

-Processes and Threads: Implemented kernel processes, threads, mutex and FIFO scheduler in non-preemptive Weenix kernel. Implemented system calls for process management and file handling.

Multithreading – Token Bucket Emulation in C

- Implemented a time driven simulation of a traffic shaper, which transmits packets controlled by a token bucket filter using multi-threading within a single process.
