Responsibilities (Substation Automation):

Having good knowledge of Substation Automation Systems and SCADA applications, communication protocols & interface design and integration with DFE-IED’s.

Experience in conducting site acceptance tests and commissioning activities of SCADA System.

Communication experience including RS232, RS485, serial & Ethernet networking (IP addressing schemes, subnets).

Communication interface design and configuration with devices including PC's, printers, IEDs (meters, protection relays) & Tap Transducers for transformers.

Protocol application experience with IEC60870-5-101,104,, Modbus and serial protocols.

HMI development, configuration & implementation of DFE’s SCADA(DF3000,DF8000)

Creating Database to all breaker & isolators for status, control, alarms, and event updates in Substation as well as in Control Centre.

PROJECT

Title: Cationic Starch Filtration Using PLC

Description: Aim of our project is to increase the thickness and stiffness of paper by adding starch and CaCo2 and then flushing the content from the filtration tank using PLC.

I have done my final year project with TNPL(TAMILNADU NEWS PRINT PAPER LTD)

Attended workshop on PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER using Keyence software in M.Kumarasamy college of engineering
