Pines Resort, Verde Ridge Resort, and the Peaks Resort. I am in

charge of all of the managers to ensure they are managing the

resorts to the standards of the company. I am also involved with

the managers as they draw up the budgets for the following year

and ensuring that they are operating within the set budgets.

Overall I take an active role in the operations of

of all four of the resorts .Yes it does involve extensive travelling

but I would not have it any other way. I have meetings with my

managers at least four times a year. Overall I have a great group of

managers that have been with us for many years.

I began my career here as General Manager of Durango Riverside

Resort and was promoted approximately 2 years later. I have been

in my current that position the last five years.

2008 GENERAL MANAGER, BEST WESTERN, WASHINGTON,

DC. Relocated to Augusta, GA to open a new Staybridge Hotel.

Hotel opening was delayed for 3+ months due to construction and

was temporarily moved to Washington, DC. as a relief manager for

The Best Western due to manager's extended absence.

2007 GENERAL MANAGER, CASA RESORT, Port Aransas, TX

TX. Managed 60-unit property on the beach including 20 employees. Assisted in setting up budget for all the departments. Determined upgrades needed for owned units and collected bids for outdoor renovations (pool, hot tub, parking lot). During my tenure I actively booked short and long term rentals and increased rental sales 23% from prior year with a 12% decrease in the operating budget.

2004-2006 DISTRICT MANAGER TRAINEE, TOWN&COUNTRY, LUBBOCK, TX. The stores in my territory had increased sales of 14% from prior fiscal year. Labor turnover was decreased from 160% to less than 80%.

As an RES, my major responsibilities included working with the managers in 58 sores in the areas of loss prevention, safety, budgets, merchandising, inventory control, labor hours. Constantly working with the managers to help develop their skills in all areas of management. My basic job was to evaluate problem stores and take measures to correct them.

Responsibilities included management of Prescott/Sedona stores for 5- years simultaneously. Recruited, trained, and scheduled employees for all levels. Ensured customer service as top priority. The Prescott store was #1 in cash & shrink for the company in 1998 out of approximately 680 stores.

1993-1996 GENERAL MANAGER, PUEBLO EL MIRAGE

RESORT, PHOENIX, AZ Manager of the lodge as well as the golf course & restaurant. Developed new methods of operations for both the restaurant and golf facilities. I developed all-inclusive packages for the guests oversaw remodeling of restaurant, and major renovation of golf course. Replaced entire staff in both departments. Created a retail division for the Pro Shop. Advertised and interfaced with community. Increased revenue by 120% from prior year.

1991-1993 ASSISTANT GM, EXCELSIOR HOTEL AND CONVENTION CENTER, (4 STAR) TULSA, OK -400 rooms.

Hired as Director of Security. Promoted to Ast General Manager after 5 months. Developed into working with all departments including, front desk, food & beverage, 2 bars, 1 restaurant, sales. Trained all department heads in CPR. Created new safety program. Trained in MOD program. I was awarded “Customer Service of the Year” by the CEO in 1991. MOD: Successful, and asked to assist in other company hotels throughout the country.
