Roanoke Trade is the leading provider of cargo and transportation-related liability/business insurance with ten U.S. locations and is part of a network reaching over 120 countries. Clients for Roanoke include small and large scale companies and property brokers with need for domestic and international shipping. The web application offers provision to clients for registration, research/selection of insurance products, provide payments, submit claims, track status, etc. This was an existing web application in ASP, which been converted to ASP.NET, maintaining the same functionalities.

Responsibilities:

oAnalyzing Product Requirements, Functional Specifications, existing ASP web application flows and creating Test Plans and Test Cases.

oImplementing Software QA Methodologies and executing Test Cases.

oBack-end testing using SQL quarries.

oIsolating and reporting defects, defect tracking, defect verification.

Cegonsoft is the leading IT education/consultancy firm with more than 30 branches across India. Completed 6-month full time course on RIA. Developed the point of sale web application as part of the program. The application is developed using OOP programming in PHP. There is provision to log-in as Admin, Sales Clerk and Report Generator. Accordingly there are provisions to add inventory/customers, search for inventory/customers, select items for sale and finally sell the items. There is also provision to generate reports on items sold, inventory on floor, bar code generation, etc.

Responsibilities:

oProject analysis, design and coding as per requirements.

oDesign and development of data base tables in MySQL and web application flow/UI using PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and CSS.

oUnit testing of the web-application and fixing issues based on test results.

Part-time courses on C, C++ at Portland Community College, OR, USA.

Three year fulltime Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics and communication engineering (D.E.C.E) from SV University, India.
