Operator panels incorporated Industrial level Human/Machine Interface PCs and applications were developed using custom graphic programming software from companies such as Allen Bradley, General Electric, and Microsoft.

Designed installed and started up numerous upgrades and additions to the Omaha Cereal manufacturing plant. Projects scope covered the range up to 100 million dollar additions and coordination with corporate level engineering teams. For the seventeen years I worked in the Omaha facility, I was responsible in the retrofit of outmoded control systems and replacement on modern PLC systems. This covered all areas of the manufacturing plant from bulk material unloading from rail cars to final warehouse unitizing and shipment to commercial suppliers. . I did the major portion of the PLC controls programming for a $120 million capital project undertaken by the Kellogg's company and it successfully went in to production on schedule.

Spent one year in Viet Nam as a Forward Air Controller and returned as a SAC aircraft commander in KC-135 aircraft. Final assignment was an aircraft commander flying SAC airborne Command Post (Looking Glass) out of Offutt AFB NE.

Thirty five years of PLC and HMI programming experience covering the diverse fields of commercial food processing, industrial oil refinery, automated manufacturing equipment and robot system integration. Instrumentation and controls included continuous process systems, scaling systems, automated warehouse palletizing systems, and guided wire vehicles. Developed high level software applications for data acquisition and plant management and supervision functions.
