The LINKS application is used to manage the work flow for real estate valuations, construction inspections, and real estate market research for commercial LOB’s. It serves as the tool to engage third party appraisers and inspectors. The application houses documents as part of the various processes by third party appraisers / inspectors / PNC staff. Additionally, the regulations require due diligence for real estate valuations is performed and maintained in the application.
The LINKS application rewrite is essential in order to support the future business growth and alignment to the PNC’s strategic direction.

Model Administration Tracking Risk Information and Control System (MATRICS)
Model metadata needs to be housed at a single location based on the business requirements. It is currently maintained through manual processes and is being automated as part of this project Around 250+ Models and their business usages information will be maintained in the automated solution. The various model and the related issues which fall under various regulatory portfolios exists in the current system. The Model can be for SOX, BASEL, or other compliance and have statistical or quantitative calculation capabilities.

PNC is submitting eight electronic OCC submissions (Monthly or Quarterly) and an annual Shared National Credit (SNC) examination. Financial report of the bank needs to be submitted to the OCC/FED based on the regulatory requirements. The report generation/submission requires analysis and an ETL process within RIS Data mart. National City Data Warehouse was an integrated repository of data that provided single point access to Customer, Household, Account, Product and Branch/Organization information. The data warehouse combined customer information from Customer Information File (CIF) and account information from legacy systems vis. Demand Deposit, Cash Reserve, Savings, Installment Loans, Credit Card, Line of Credit, Debit Card, ATM, Mortgage Loans, Safe Deposit Box, Auto Lease, and Commercial Loans. Data Warehouse captured information about 21 million customers, 14 million Households, 33 million accounts, and 80 million transactions per month. Clients also used Geneva Adhoc Reporting tool to access all of 5 years legacy data.
