Supply Chain Manager

Plan, organize and direct all supply chain management activities. Manage all purchasing procedures relative to procurement, supplier development, RFQ and product launch. Responsible for negotiating agreements with suppliers and developing/implementing strategies for maximum value, including cost improvements. Earlier, as the Materials Manager for Tower Automotive of Bluffton OH, key accomplishments included securing $659,000 in negotiated savings, increasing turns from 15 to 21, decentralizing purchasing activities to the divisional level, initiating Lean Manufacturing and leading Lean training activities which resulted in $2 million in savings.
