Application overview:

VIP reporting:

VisaNet is VISA financial transaction processing network, which supports transaction routing among acquirers and issuers. The various types of transactions include Authorization, Clearing and Settlement and dispute processing etc.

The application, VIP reporting creates various authorization reports and service activity reports for members of VISA and distributes the reports using multiple delivery options.

VMPD:

Visa Merchant Profile Database (VMPD) deals with editing and storing of merchant data provided by acquirers. VMPD provides merchant information to various sub applications and third party clients like IRS. Acquirers send merchant master data to VMPD, VMPD validates, edits, enriches the merchant data and store the data into DB2 repository.

CCBR:

Contracts system is used to create and maintain contracts between Suppliers and Customers. A contract contains details of items, item prices, competitive contract prices and eligibility criteria to avail contract prices.

Charge back system is a unique feature of a “consolidator and distributor” business like ABC’s. The need of this application arises when Supplier and Customer negotiate an item price which is less than the contract price. The difference is then charged back to the Supplier.
