Designed and planned the start-up of a new printing plant and warehouse with responsibility to hire contractors, riggers and train new employees, instrumental in construction and layout of plant and machinery. The new plant quadrupled production and increased sales from $2 to $15 million in the next 5 years. Implemented a spare parts system for machines. (Waverly Textiles)

RICHARD GRECKI RESUME, PAGE 2
Motivated employees by establishing an attendance reward program significantly reducing absenteeism and the need for temporary help, reducing operational costs. (J.M. Fry Inc., Oxco, CNC)
Implemented lean manufacturing and 5S programs (Oxco, CNC) resulting in continuous process improvement with 30% increase in production and 20% increase in production efficiency. Reduced plant and warehouse lighting costs 25% and replaced 652 lighting units with 72 new units by converting to high-output, high- efficiency units with an initial payback under 2 years. (OXCO, Inc.)
Created a working loss calculation and tracking program identifying problem suppliers and unprofitable customers. Implemented FIFO and wrote policies and procedures for warehouse. (OXCO, Inc.)
Installed new production line of a machine that was in storage for 6 years with only pictures to follow plus no layout, foundation or schematics. Coordinated with Duke Energy bringing in a new electrical service to power the line and ascertained what each component did in the process revamping it. Instrumental in startup, and developed and implemented all operating procedures and trained all personnel in usage. (OXCO, Inc.)
Improved plant run efficiency from 80% to 98% over a 5-year period through continuous process improvement projects designed to streamline workflows and reduce wasted time and motion.
