During my time at Landale signs I have endeavored to expand my sales expertise to outside sales. Over the course of performing my duties I have done cold calls (both phone calls and walk in),worked with a team to present bid packages and quotes on some of the largest projects in Edmonton, and worked with a fabrication shop to custom fabricate signage to fit any application. Being with landale I have been able to expand my skill set as a sales person by working with customers to discover all of their signage needs and service them at any time of day.

While At Rolark I have further built developed my proficiency at growing new business and creating and maintaining lasting partnerships with customers. Also I have expanded my knowledge base into shipping logistics and branch operations to better round out my skill set. During my time at Rolark I have had a chance to get out on the road and see customers in person and be onsite to help problem solve issues and come to quick and concise conclusions. I have also helped diversify Rolark’s customer base from predominantly flat rolled customers to both flat rolled and long Product customers.

At ASA I have shown great proficiency in growing new business and developing positive customer relationships. I have also gone on the road and shown that I can be an asset in an outside sales role as well. While at ASA I started with the territory of Southern Alberta grossing $1.7 million per year and bringing that up to $3.3 million per year in 2 years. With the success in that territory, I was asked to also take on the Province of British Columbia. There I was able to turn an ailing territory grossing 250k per year and through building some great contacts and working with our outside sales team it grossed over 900k with no end in sight. Also at ASA, I have had the opportunity to do my own sourcing of material, which means there is nowhere I wouldn’t go to find the material my customer wanted. Although initially I did not have a lot of experience in making out calls, I made that a pivotal way of growing my business along with referrals from my customers.
