Responsible for the winding down of operations at Karrys and transitioning inventory and key assets to Core-Mark:
Key Accomplishments:
Consolidated all inventories/Assets at Karrys to the least amount of trailers loads to reduce cost (74 Loads) and ship to Core-Mark.
Managed demolition crew to remove all racking, pick towers, conveyors and free standing structures
Prepared the building for inspection by the landlord and ensured exit cost were minimized
Facility Management & Special projects (Cost Reduction Initiatives) 2012 – Mar 2015
Reporting to the President took responsibility for the Facility & Maintenance Departments and also tasked with helping the organization to reduce overall costs (Warehouse & Operations). Identified and implemented cost saving initiatives the to help reduce impact of Customer Losses

Completed 9 out of 10 Building Environmental Systems certification courses (final course to be taken next semester)
Retro fitted the entire 150,000 sq ft facility with more a more efficient lighting system. Installed Motion sensors,T-8 and T-5 Lights bulbs and instant on florescent light bulbs

Performed root cause assessment on equipment failures; 12% reduction in expenses
