M/S Neel Metal Products Ltd., joint venture of HMSI, is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal stamping skin panels parts, welding sub- assy, for O.E.M. company has the most advance state of art technologies e.g- Semi automatic tandem line of robot press.

The Company is well equipped with modern press (mechanical/hydraulic) range from 200T to 600T and weld shop with Mig/Mag & spot welding.

OCCUPATIONAL CONTOUR

Supplier Quality Assurance

Supervising the production processes, systems at the vendors end and providing suggestions for improving process efficiency.

Evaluating line problems, customer problems & coordinating with vendors for rectification of same. .

Inspecting the incoming materials supplied by vendors specially sheet metal parts and ensuring that they match quality specifications.

Evaluating Process& system audit at Supplier end.

Evaluate the vendor rating on performance basis.

Control of Process Quality

Checking & shooting out quality related problems in production process & resolving Quality problems in the components.

Identifying areas of quality failures and taking right steps to rectify the system wide preventive and corrective actions to avoid the reoccurrences.

Weekly analysis of rejection data &. take corrective action to resolve them.

Documenting for Approval of parts from Customers as per TS-16949, making Process Standard & Inspection Standard for all new parts & their evaluation.

Red bin analysis to reduce In-house rejection with C.F.T member

Planning and executing manpower training, both supervisors and workman to bring in multi-skilled workforce to bring up overall skill levels ensuring consistent quality levels.

Handling overall shop floor activities & implementing effective technique to bring efficiency in operation to improve quality standard & achieve maximum cost savings.

Process Improvement :

Coordinating with customer & providing them suggestions for removing process defects if any.

Interfacing with purchase department for procurement of instruments and gauges for department.

Monitoring the performance of the vendors & motivating them to improve their performance.

Development of new testing ideas/equipments for better quality and reduction in inspection time.

Coordinate with P.E for new product development & prepare document for PPAP related to Q.A

Review FMEA, Control plan, process standard & Inspection standard on any new problem.

Ensure that all panel checker report & take corrective action to improve part accuracy.

Customer complaint handling & take appropriate Counter measure by using 7 Q.C Tools.

Kaizen activities used to make better work environment & cost saving..

In case of Non conformity of product, Quality alert tag & Q.A.R raised to production department for training of operator & Inspector.

(AN ISO/TS 16949-2002) certified company manufacturing automotive sheet metal stamping component for Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., General motors, & new development of Mahindra & Mahindra.

Job Responsibilities:

Inspection of all the incoming material from sub supplier as per ISO norms

System audit of the supplier for the complains and up-gradation to get the best

To reduce the P.P.M level of the B.O.P & to improve the suppliers to achieve D.O.L parts resulting reduce inspection cost at our end.

Responsible for the maintaining the all activities of the System of process at Incoming stage and Supplier’s Up-gradation.
