OBJECTIVE: Seeking an entry-level position in Computer Engineering, with an opportunity to utilize current knowledge, skills and abilities in contributing effectively to the Engineering team
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
●Computer Language: Verilog, C, C++, Assembly, Matlab, Python
●Working knowledge of board layout, Digital circuit design, Embedded systems design and FPGA
●Software: Cadence encounter, Cadence virtuoso, Cadence Pspice, NI LabView
●Self-motivated, Productive as member of a team or individually
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Graduation Date: May 2016
The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), San Antonio, TX GPA: 4.0
RELEVANT COURSEWORK:
●Introduction to VLSI design, Computer Organization and Architecture (MIPS), Operating Systems (C)
●Digital System Design (Verilog), Microcomputer system, Logic Design, Electrical Engineering Lab I & II
●C++ and Data Structures, Computer programming with Engineering Application (C)
RELEVANT PROJECTS:
●Interfacing a mathematical co-processor (umfpu v3.1) to a micro controller (Microchip’s PIC16f1829) to improve the computational speed of the controller. Implementation was done using SPI and I2C module on controller showing reduction in speed of computing numbers.
●Wrote I2C module to communicate with the temperature sensor on a Xilinx’s Nexys4 FPGA board (ADT 7240). Implementation was done in verilog code. Real time temperature was displayed on 7-segment display on the FPGA. Worked with a classmate to display temperature on a monitor using a VGA.
●Using concepts learned in VLSI class, built a VGA driver chip on encounter. The code was first written in Verilog, synthesized and then optimized to reduce power consumption.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Software Engineer Intern May – August 2015
Soteria Cyber Security, Atlanta, Georgia
●Modified source code (kernel level) from the company to collect information about system calls and events, that records information about malicious activities.
●Conferred with my manager to determining privilege escalations in windows system.
●Used Event tracing for windows (ETW) technique to record log files, which keeps the information about privilege escalation.
Independent Tutor
Hyderabad, India October 2010 – December 2011
●Tutored high school students in mathematics, physics and chemistry
HONORS AND ACTIVITIES:
●UTSA President’s List Spring 2012 - present
●Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Spring 2012- present
●ETA KAPPA NU (HKN) Spring 2014 – Fall 2014
