I started working with six spindle drill presses in a piecework atmosphere. As technology advanced into the world of CNC machinery I also ran CNC mills as well as CNC lathes. Worked with both FANUC controls as well as MAZATROL machining parts with tolerances as close as .0001. During this time our company became ISO certified. I was trained in blue print reading and very familiar with Geometric Tolerances.

2010-2015

• Promoted to Departmental Manager

• Perform contract review for new and existing projects to plan for manufacture schedule.

• Coordinate with purchasing and/or customer for material schedule to plan for production event.

• Evaluate material shortages report to plan for production priority.

• Estimate worker hour requirement by studying production schedules to complete job assignments within deadlines.

• Directly oversee the production needs of our customers dealing directly with production managers and salesmen.

• Directly oversee all new production needs for these four departments as well as sit down with engineers and salesmen as we quote new product possibilities.

• Directly oversee the day-to-day work scheduling of the hourly employees in my departments and overtime needs.

• Responsible to research and recommend any and all new technology and machinery to help keep our plant competitive in an ever-competitive world. Report directly to Vice-President of the company.

2005-2010

• Promoted to 3rd shift Supervisor into a salary position. Answering directly to departmental managers and ensuring that their production requirements were met.

• Directly oversaw 15 to 20 employees plant wide during this time. Oversaw plant wide production for 3rd shift.

• Responsible to make decisions to ensure that the production needs and dates were being met as well as our customer qualities being adhered to.

• Became group leader and was put in charge of the training of new employees with CNC machinery as well as their training in blue print reading and geometric tolerances ensuring the production of quality parts.
