OAKLEY SUB ASSEMBLY, Brampton November 2014 – December 2015

Tier 1 Sequencing supplier to Chrysler. Our highly automated system delivers 5,000 option sequenced wheel assemblies to the Brampton Chrysler Assembly Plant each day. These assemblies went direct to the vehicles.

Plant Manager (GM Responsibilities)

With hundreds of option combinations, the objective of zero defects and flawless delivery had been repeatedly missed. I was brought on board to realize these complicated tasks – we succeeded by applying rigorous controls on processes.

Achievements:

Implemented and drove multiple cost reduction projects using the P&L budget as goal guidelines

I personally drove a new PM Program. Increasing Uptime and reliability was the simple objective.

Created a line of sight to lead the organization out of operational gridlock and TS16949 suspension

Defined goals and developed strategies to reduce costs, advance quality and build profitability.

Led risk reduction systems on everything from equipment up-time capabilities to Training Matrix depth. Improved management/employee relationship and cleared up old grievances.
