I underwent training of Diploma Orthopaedics (from May 2011 to March 2013) I underwent a structured training program with six monthly rotations in the specialized units of Hand Surgery, Pediatric Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, and Trauma surgery. This included:
1 Training in taking an adequate history of patients, doing a thorough physical examination and directing specific investigations, offering a differential diagnosis, discussing various modes of treatment and communicating with the patients and their relatives.
2 Training to perform minor and major Orthopaedics subspecialty surgical procedures and management of Orthopaedics emergencies.
3 Taking active part in paper presentations, organizing symposiums, Journal club meetings and CME programs as part of the postgraduate training.
