• Supervise two people in a cancer research lab generating $900,000 in outside grant money annually.

• Identify biomarkers in cancer cells and conduct experiments with drugs to access cell interiors and kill them.

• Purify and isolate plasmid DNA and perform immunohistochemistry procedures.

• Process, embed, section, and stain specimens for histological preparation.

• Attend weekly meetings with Principal Investigator to schedule and prioritize tasks/procedures.

• Ensure adequate levels of necessary stock and reagents required to perform scientific procedures.

• Developed a regressive staining process for tissues that presents better morphology for pathological analysis.

• Helped design a protocol for terminal cardiac extraction, a procedure that extracts a maximal amount of plasma/serum from a model organism with zero discomfort to the species.

• Developed a procedure for gel electrophoresis of plasmid DNA for crisper, more distinct DNA bands.
