Employment History February 2014- October 2015 -Green Tokai Co., Inc.- Quality Engineer *Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power point. * I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Skilled in Statistical Process Control. * I create and maintain APQP documents as well as PPAP documents to customers. * I am able to work independently, and in a team to reach our quality objective. * Skilled at recognizing cost and scrap reduction for the betterment of the company. * I oversee the plant quality auditor department for my products. * I generate quality documents for approval through GTC document control. * Responsible for supplier development. * Track and disposition of non conforming material. * Responsible for non conforming parts, their disposition, return, and corrective action. * Skilled at problem solving and charting deficiencies to determine the cost of non conformance. * I travel where ever I am needed to meet with suppliers to resolve quality issues. * I work closely with Design and Product Engineering to order check fixtures for our products. 2011 to 2013- National Agents Alliance * Selling specialty insurance along with standard life products. January 2009 to September 2011 * I attended Sinclair College and Kettering Medical College studying Respiratory Care. February -1985 to December-2008- General Motors * 4 years in the quality department- I spent 1.5 years as a quality auditor responsible for the complete daily audit of 3 vehicles coming off of the pay point. I spent 1 year on the “flat track” inspecting vehicles for any defects prior to buy off at the pay point. I also spent 1.5 years as the plant liason between GM and our sequencing facilities. I was responsible for the parts to be sequenced in a timely manner, within spec, and defect free. It was my responsibility to identify waste and develop strategies to solve the problem, then implement the fix. * 6 years as a production supervisor- I was responsible for the daily management of 50+ employees to ensure our group met our daily goals of quality, cost, safety, efficiency and productivity, all within the confines of the labor agreement. * 14 years as a GM certified Professional Trainer- responsible for development and facilitation of numerous training programs at Moraine Assembly, which included the Quality Network classes, new employee orientation, workplace organization, problem solving classes, SPC, and many more over my 14 years. Some of my training overlapped with my floor time. * 6 years in production- I was an assembler, a relief operator, a repairman, and a group leader.
