To collect blood specimens from patients of all ages and direct the duly labelled specimens for further processing to various lab areas, including glucose tolerance tests, routine basic tests for Homeostasis, such as Bleeding time, Clotting time and to work Part time or Full time Phlebotomists in the O.P.D. Collection Area as required.

To make blood smears, and to perform Simple Staining, such as Lieshman’s, and to perform Manual Methods for Cell counts and Haemoglobin, and few tests such as Hb PCV and ESR, and to process and screen Parasites in Blood and Faeces, and to process urine specimens, semen and CSF, and report to the senior staff (Not to the clinician directly) in the Clinical Pathology Dept o ANIMAL FACILITY
