OBJECTIVE:

I want to further my career in the Industrial Construction/Services field with an emphasis in, but not limited to the installation, repair, and commissioning of Rotating Equipment for Power Generation Projects. I have amassed the skills needed to successfully carry out any and all tasks required of me. EXPERIENCE:

2015 - 2015 Jaguar Energy Guatemala, Masaqua, Guatemala Turbine & Generator Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator for the installation of two (2) 150 MW Harbin Turbine Corporation solid fuel turbines as well as the Harbin Electric Corporation Generators. I was responsible for the coordination of the installation of the turbines, generators, and ancillary equipment. Additionally, I provided the craft support for the Commissioning phase of the project.

2014 - 2015 GN Power Mariveles Coal Plant, Bataan, Philippines Turbine & Generator Project Manager

Project Manager for the complete rewind of two (2) Harbin Electric Corporation 325 MW generators as well as the Warranty Outage Inspections of the Harbin Turbine Corporation solid fuel steam turbines. As Project Manager my duties consisted of all aspects of the project planning and execution, utilizing both internal and external resources.

2014 - 2014 NES Global/Alstom Power Inc., Huntington, UT Turbine & Generator Technical Field Advisor

Technical Field Advisor for the Huntington Canyon Fall Outage. I was responsible for the overall technical direction of the sub-contractor performing the disassembly, inspection, refurbishment, and re-assembly of two (2) GE Turbine Feed Pump Drives. GE type DRV-631, six (6) stage duel inlet units and the associated valves. Additionally, I provided technical direction for the disassembly, inspection, refurbishment, and reassembly of the Main Turbine and Generator bearings, Control Valves, Main Steam Stop Valves, and Combined Reheat Valves for the 503 MW GE Steam Turbine, 18 stage D-8 design.

2013 - 2014 AME Inc., Fort Mill, SC Installation Advisor

As needed contract employee offering Technical Direction during the installation of various types of rotating equipment. I have also served as Quality Advisor for various projects. In this role, I was responsible for the review of, acceptance of, and confirmation of Sub-Contractors’ ITPs.

2012 - 2013 SNC Lavalin International Hadjret, Algeria & Sousse, Tunisia Client Representative / Centerline Equipment Installation Manager

This was a short term International assignment that entailed the responsibilities of an “Owners Representative” during the planned outage of a GE 262 MW Steam Turbine as well as an upgrade to a GE Frame 9 Combustion package. My focus was primarily on assuring that the manufacturer (GE) performed their warranty work on the Steam Turbine as planned and on schedule. In Tunisia I was tasked with the following; Commercial and Technical Management of the local contractor performing the installation of an Ansaldo Energy 450 MW Single-Shaft Turbine/Generator set. I was responsible for ensuring that the Combustion Turbine, Generator, and Steam Turbine components were properly inspected at receipt, foundations were prepared and in compliance, and the installation of the equipment onto the foundations in accordance with the Manufacturer’s requirements as well as the Project ITPs. Additionally, I was responsible for the mediation and resolution of any Commercial and/or Contractual conflicts that arose during the installation.

2007 - 2011 Woodgroup HIT/TurboCare Generator Services, Inc. Project Manager and Turbine Technical Advisor

Project Manager for the Generator Services Division. My duties included all aspects of Project Management overseeing scheduling, procurement, engineering, and execution while working within the confines of the project budget. I worked closely with the client to ensure that the services agreed upon were delivered in a Safe and Efficient manner with respect to Quality. My projects were in the Power Production sector consisting of Inspections, Rotor Rewinds, and complete Stator Rewinds/Restacks both Turbo and Hydro. I have also performed various Combustion and Steam turbine outages and inspections from Hot Gas Paths, Minor, and Major outages both Domestic and Internationally. Consisting of Westinghouse 501 F and G units. Mitsubishi 501 G. GE Frame 5, 6, and 7. Alstom GT 24. Pratt and Whitney FT 8. As well as GE LM 2500 and LM 6000.

2005 - 2007 ASRC Energy-- Pipeline, Power, & Communications Trans Alaska Pipeline Construction Manager

Construction Manager for the installation of two Siemens SGT 400 Cyclone Turbine and Generator sets as well as the Mainline Crude Oil Pumps, VFD Modules, and Control Module at Pump Station 4 on the Trans Alaska Pipeline Strategic Reconfiguration Project. I was directly responsible for the onsite Project Management including Safety, Engineering, and Project Controls. Additionally I was responsible for the effective management of multi-jurisdictional craft labor exceeding 150 employees at peak of project.

2004 - 2005 SNC-Lavalin Constructors Inc., Farmington, NM

Mechanical Superintendent

Directly supervised the installation of a GE LM6000 Combustion Turbine and Siemens ST4-6 Steam Turbine as well as all the balance of plant equipment. Provided the support for the successful commissioning of the plant.

2002 - 2003 PIC Energy Services, Inc., Marietta, GA

Turbine Technician

Various scheduled Power Plant outages.

My duties included the disassembly, inspection, repairs, and upgrades of Combustion and Steam Turbines as well as a variety of the balance of plant equipment. Provided the necessary assistance during the plant re-commissioning.

1997 - 2002 NEPCO/SNC Lavalin, Bothell, WA

Mechanical General Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, and Superintendent

Directly supervised the installation of Combustion and Steam Turbines and the balance of plant equipment. Also provided the support personnel for the successful Commissioning of the Plants.

My duties included the initial inspection of the Turbine components and BOP equipment. I was responsible for assuring that all erection and installation tasks were performed in direct accordance with both, the Client/Owner’s and the Equipment Manufacturer’s policies and procedures. I also maintained an excellent working partnership with the Client Reps., the Manufacturer’s Technical Advisors, and the Project Engineering team.

I provided input as to daily task time lines, material and consumables forecasts and the procurement of these items, as well as manpower forecasts. In addition to maintaining the contractual completion schedule while providing assurance that all Federal, State, Local, and Company Safety policies and guidelines were adhered to.

Paper machine Roll Service both scheduled and emergency needs.

Duties included Optimizing existing Roll configurations internal and external as well as regular servicing. This included, but not limited to Bearing replacement, failure analysis, repairing, and re-machining of bearing housings, sealing components, and bearing seats/fits.

I also worked closely with Engineering as well as Research and Development to determine root causes for loss of efficiency and correct any unforeseen deficiencies that may cause questionable run-ability and reliability.
