Provide temporary services for clients on an as need basis. Services
include construction, assembly, banquet and general labor. Utilized
mechanical equipment such as lifts, pallet jacks, forklifts as needed.

Kingdom Builders Center
Responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the Kingdom Builders Center
(KBC) which included insuring proper functioning of facilities through
ongoing inspection and coordination with management. Assist in the
completion of day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of the
building/facility, equipment and tools including HVAC, building lighting
systems, grounds keeping, security and overall facility appearance.
Assist the Facility manager with safety and related items. Coordinate
with event staff when facilities are used for client events. These
events included meetings, weddings, concerts, conferences as well as
specialized events. Coordinated/supervised support staff when events
were scheduled as well with daily activities. Utilized equipment such as
scissor lifts, forklifts, pallet jacks as necessary to complete duties.

EXXONMOBIL (Houston, TX)
Maintained the Professional Employment Recruiting System (PERS). This
system contains all the information pertinent to prospective employees
as they go thru EXXONMOBIL's hiring process. Responsibilities include
maintaining databases, production report generation, statistical
report generation and adhoc report generation.
These activities were accomplished using FOCUS in an VMS environment.
Also, on the MVS mainframe utilizing TSO/ISPF, JCL and other IBM
Utilities, as well as, FOCUS, COBOL and DB2. Legacy data was extracted
from multiple sources (i.e databases and flat files). From these
extractions additional databases and files were created and maintained
as necessary. FOCUS was then use to generate the user specified reports
from these sources as well as the legacy sources.

Macro Enterprises, INC. (Houston, TX)
Assisted in the conversion of the Project Management Information System
(PMIS). This conversion consisted of expansion of key and select fields
within the system, updating file description and reports, and generation
of new files, Focus DBs and reports. The environment that the initial
programming was accomplished in was a remote job site with access to the
user's Alpha Vax via a VPN connection. Programs were developed through
a SourceSafe development system and then FTP'd to the Alpha Vax. Vax
utilities were also utilized for editing sorting and additional needed
tasks. Mainframe environment was MVS utilizing TSO/SPF, JCL, Syncsort,
and IBM Utilities. Programming languages were COBOL, FOCUS. Microsoft
Office 2000 including ACCESS, EXCEL & OUTLOOK, as well as BRIO were
also, utilizing in performing required responsibilities.

University of Texas Medical Branch (Galveston, TX)
Generation of data files and reports per user requirements in respect to
Clinical Information. Provided support in the Clinical Information
Systems department to users in the main branch of hospital as well as
satellite sites.
These activities were accomplished using FOCUS in an MVS environment
utilizing TSO/ROSCOE, JCL, IBM Utilities. Batch and online processing
were also utilized. The data sources were Invision, VSAM and FOCUS
files.

United Health Care (Hartford, CT)
Documentation, maintenance and enhancement of the Performance Guarantee
System. This system was a performance tracking system for insurance
policies that were handled by the company. I was responsible for report
generation and maintenance per user requirements. I was involved in
creation and maintenance of databases to support the operations of the
system. I also incorporated additional functionality into the system.
This was done by accepting a data feed from the a legacy system and
incorporating the data into the existing databases and reports as well
as, creation of new databases and reports per user requirements.
These were accomplished using FOCUS in an MVS environment utilizing
TSO/ISPF, JCL, IBM Utilities, CLISTS and additional VSAM files and DB2
databases. MS Access & Excel were also utilized.
01/97 - 01/00 Consultant (MAXIM GROUP)
UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD (Omaha, NE)
Primary responsibility was the conversion of FOCUS databases and flat
files in support of Y2K efforts. These efforts encompassed the
utilization of Smart Dates and the DEFCENT & YRTHRESH windowing
techniques in order to maintain compliance with Y2K issues. This
involved searching for suspect date occurrences, conversion, testing
and preparing an audit trail. In addition to the above Y2K duties, I
developed a scanning tool which assisted in the completion of the Y2K
compliance process. This scanning tool enabled a user to search
selected code for suspect criteria provided by the user. The tool’s
versatility made it invaluable in accomplishing our desired goals.
Additional duties consisted of maintenance and enhancements to
applications per requests from the user community. Maintenance occurred
as the result of user reported problems. Enhancements occurred as user
defined modifications that were deemed appropriate.
The environment consisted of FOCUS on an MVS mainframe utilizing
TSO/ISPF, JCL, IBM Utilities and CLISTS. DB2, FOCUS, SAS, IMS and
TERADATA database and VSAM files. Microsoft ACCESS, EXCEL, LOTUS NOTES
& BRIO were also, utilized in performing required responsibilities.

Performed maintenance and enhancements to FOCUS based Mortgage Servicing
system. This system consisted of multiple applications involved in
billing and tracking mortgage loans. Some applications required
creation of FOCUS databases on Client severs to facilitate users
specific needs. Generation of production and ad-hoc reports were also
essential to their system.
