D&D Technologies is a medium size Hardware Manufacturing Company that has its own R&D, Planning, and Manufacturing & Distribution Plant in Australia. Specialized Gate hardwires are the main products; those designed and manufacture locally and distributed to AU/NZ, USA and EU Distribution Centre to satisfy market demand. During the role I need to deal with 1,437 Live SKU.
Role Profile:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the scope of the role includes;
To manage Kanban/Components and Finished Goods warehouse daily operations.
To manage manufactured, purchased, sub-assembly and finished goods inventory up to $3.5 M. Ensuring processes and structures are in place consistent with LEAN principles.
Manage $600K Annual Freight Budget and conduct annual contract negotiations with domestic and international transport providers.
Liaise and provide support to D&D Distributors, Trade and Retail Customers as required.
Manage Retail Consignment Stock Warehouses, monthly stock counts, reconciliations and support customer service team.
Develop and implement operations, logistics and inventory processes and work instructions to ensure KPI’s are met.

Role Profile:
Stock Controller is one of the team members of National Supply Chain Department that manage four different Inventory Channels. My role was involving with one the busiest distribution channel that managed the Sydney Metro, New Castle, and Canberra & NSW Rural Distribution Zone.
