We would then sit out on the patio or Mr. Shero would take a little walk to the cow lot and water, Earl had provided him with this job to make him feel like he was still a active part of the running of the Ranch. On days that Mr. shero was restless or confused, we would take a short drive to calm him. I would assist him with showering, dressing, and tuck him into bed at night. When Earl would return at the end of the day, I would sit and talk to him about our activities and any incidents that had occurred that was not telephoned to him earlier in the day.
