Provide direction and training of employees in their daily duties and responsibilities. Review reports daily to ensure accuracy and balance of inventory between multiple systems. Review and resolve all perpetual inventory discrepancies and acquire proper approval for changes to that system. Review all obsolete and non conforming inventories quarterly. Acquire proper approval for the destruction of obsolete inventories and arrange for disposal that meets or exceeds environmental and government requirements. Coordinate the yearly physical inventory of all third-party locations and the quarterly cycle counts in the distribution facility. Review and resolve major discrepancies of the perpetual to the physical counts. Draft inventory procedures to meet Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Provide support to accounting department in balancing the general ledger to perpetual inventory. Convert inventory from components / raw materials to finished goods.
