EXPERIENCE

Fleet Maintenance Planner L-3 Communications April 2015 to Present

I forecasts, plan, and coordinate schedule maintenance events to maintain FAA regulatory compliance and the integrity of the flying schedule. I also open and review work orders to ensure all contractual obligations were met with no overfly activity of maintenance tasks while balancing the needs of Technical Operations, Marketing and other internal/external customers.

Maintenance Supervisor BOSH Global Services/AAI UAV (Afghanistan) – Oct 2012 to Dec 2013

Perform as a Subject Matter Expert for all Aerosonde maintenance processes and oversee 24 assigned maintenance personnel in support of company and customer requirements to include cost, flight schedules, airspace, resources, frequency management/de-confliction, and other aspects as directed by the Site Lead.

Responsible for the Aerosonde sustainment operation, supply chain management, and operations support. This includes strict quality, configuration, and traceability controls in accordance with standard AAI processes. In addition to work order completion, system modification accomplishment and field service bulletin prosecution to include Colts and logbooks documentation.

AECOM (KUWAIT) Helicopter Avionics Tech – July 2012 to September 2012

Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components. Services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems. Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. Performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections. Performs limited maintenance operational checks and assists in diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment. Prepare forms and records related to aircraft maintenance and use applicable STAMIS systems.

Lockheed Martin Flight Line Field Service Mechanic- November 2011 – July 2012

Diagnose malfunctions of the electrical system of the F-35 aircraft occurring during preflight preparation, and post flight operational checks. Determined the cause and selected the most expedient corrective action to bring operations within acceptable standards and accomplished all necessary rework, repair and replacement of components.

Proficient in electrical system ground handling and test equipment while performing operational troubleshooting.

Work from blueprints, flight discrepancies, engineering changes, technical order, and inspection sheets. Make complete or final operational checks, rework, repair, adjustments, or servicing to airplanes prior to flights.

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Instrumentation Mechanic Flight line Launch and recovery - 2007 – Nov. 2011

Responsible for planning and layout, fabrication and assembly of instrumentation provisioning for flight test aircraft and development projects where no established procedures or method exists and work is accomplished from the verbal instructions and/or rough sketches of engineering.

Responsible for the functional check and calibration of direct reading aircraft instruments and electro-mechanical sensing devices used for the accumulation of development test data.

Install, operationally check, calibrate and maintain direct reading instrumentation sensing devices of an electro-mechanical nature on aircraft undergoing flight test evaluation and performs the layout necessary to establish the locations for and accomplishes the assembly and installation to provide provisioning for new and changed engineering requirements.

Diagnose and correct all electro-mechanical and provisioning malfunctions of sensing device failures occurring during instrumentation system ground run or those detected during flight line operations.

Maintain, modify, repair and install various types of cameras used in flight test instrumentation or developmental research. Provide general instrumentation support for engineering projects. Familiar with all of Lockheed Martin published procedures pertaining to manufacturing, (SFM and EWI computer systems) EDU tools boxes and safety requirements. COMSEC briefed 2007. Received award from Edwards AFB General for the support I provided on

AF3 for the installation of the Fire Hose Pod which was installed with zero defects.

Traveled domestically to support Lockheed Martin’s mission on the F-35 A, B and C models as an electrical technician to repair F-35 fiber optics and electrical systems at NAS Patuxent River and Edwards Air Force Base.

American EuroCopter Electronics Mechanic - 2007

Performed assembly, installation, repair and/or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems in the manufacture, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft. Perform inspection, functional and operational check of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.

Bell Helicopter Avionics Engineering Liaison - 2001

Responsible for writing bonding specification for the Bell 609 tilt rotor aircraft, which meet all bonding requirements set forth by Bell Helicopter and FAA by utilizing the Bittle low ohmmeter tester. Test certain areas of the aircraft designated to provide low impedance paths for the lightning strike current to flow from entry to exit. Responsible for planning, charting and documenting all avionics parts installed on the Bell 609. Verify that parts have successfully past all RTCA/DO-160D environmental conditions and test procedures for airborne equipment requirements, Bell Helicopter, and vendor requirements approved by the FAA.

Fleet Management Planner Raytheon /Aerospace (DEA) – 2000-2001

Responsible for scheduling and charting maintenance production of aircraft based on statistic complied by maintenance. Provided the necessary work instructions to off-site mechanics to ensure aircraft parts, supplies and documents are expeditiously and accurately processed in accordance with established procedures. Compiled material inventory records and prepared requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies Coordinated with other departments to determine the status of assigned maintenance performed on aircraft. Oversee the entire operations in order to meet required mission schedules. Processed production reports using maintenance request and signed off completed invoices for payment to vendors. Prepared lists of required parts, materials, and tools to install high tech surveillance equipment into government aircraft. Acted as the liaison between prospective vendors and the customer regarding maintenance, bid packages and aircraft equipment. Developed statements of work for customers requesting modifications, to ensure all maintenance being performed meet FAA standards. All reports were done using Microsoft Word and Excel.
