OBJECTIVE

To work in software to build better worlds.

EXPERIENCE

QVINCI - 2014 - Current

An accounting analytics/consolidation company. I was lead UI/UX designer with specific emphasis on JavaScript for single-page applications. Using C# MVC .NET v4.5, JavaScript/CoffeeScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap, I designed and developed the front-end UI/UX for an in-house Excel-like report building single-page application as well as spearheaded the design and implementation of the site wide redesign. There, we used razor syntax as our templating framework, utilized JIRA & Confluence for task management and requirement documentation respectively, and Source Tree as our source code repository. I served as team lead for the Report Modifier single page app project. VERSASUITE 2013- 2014

VersaSuite is an EHR software company. I was lead designer and web developer to their in-house Patient Portal. Using C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON, and the Twilio C# API I styled and designed the front end interface the patient interacts with as well as develop many of the back end controller methods used to push web applications. I utilized C# Linq to write SQL queries (using method syntax) and MSSQL. I utilized both UX and UI design principles to ensure ease of use. Some third-party JavaScript frameworks/plugins we used are Bootstrap, Chart.js, Kendo, JustGage, Modernizr, jQuery UI and HighCharts. We utilized Visual Studio 2013 as our version control system and primary IDE. I used both Chrome and Firefox developer tools for debugging on a daily basis. Most of the work I did was centered around the front end UX and UI design in which I made extensive use of JavaScript, C#’s razor syntax, and HTML/CSS. Part of my job was ensuring most pages of the patient portal were accessible on mobile devices, so we took advantage of Bootstrap’s dynamic page readjustment features. Other aspects of my duties included interacting with our customers directly, providing demos of the patient portal, acquiring feedback from clients, and squashing any bugs using the bug tracking system Bugzilla. FEDEX / HARTE-HANKS - 2012 - 2013

At FedEx, I served as senior server technical support specialist. I provided remote desktop/call center assistance for FedEx server and standalone FedEx Ship ManagerTM software for Fortune 500 companies and various U.S. and Canadian government agencies. My duties included backing up of SQL Databases, troubleshooting the core software functionality, ensuring system communications functioned as designed, and cleanloading and/or upgrading the software on both virtual and non-virtual Window’s environments. I also served as a web services specialist for those customers who utilize the FedEx web API to connect their website to FedEx for rating, tracking, shipping, etc. I used troubleshooting methodologies for FedEx Web Service XML transactions and communications on both FedEx production and sandbox environments. While there I also maintained and developed the in-house web portal using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Python. BIOMANCE ENTERTAINMENT, LLC 2007-2013

A start-up visual effects technology company which specializes in creating new technology for several industries including video game, film production, and military industries. My duties as chief executive officer include maintaining and growing our customer base, as well as provide solutions to individuals and corporations, and spearhead development of new technologies. NEW GOLDEN DIGITAL 2008-2009

As chief engineer, I was team lead. My responsibilities included improving and maintaining technological components of our visual effects technology and creating basic project management timetables. PERSONAL PROJECTS

In my spare time I write single page web applications and custom websites for local businesses and artists using Python and deploy using Google App Engine on both Linux and Windows platforms. I've been using Visual Studio, PyCharm, and Netbeans for several years and just recently started using Visual Studio Code with Git as a basic IDE for smaller web based projects. I've used the PTAM Augmented Reality C++ library to build a real-time high definition AR system on an Arch Linux system with a Black Magic capture card. I also build various personal projects with my Arduino Uno using C-language as well as with JavaScript using Node.js and the Johnny-Five robotics framework. Other miscellaneous knowledge is that of bash for Linux and am a big fan of using RegEx for my personal or professional parsing needs. Recently I’ve begun building a custom JavaScript Neural Network library called HAL9000.
