PROJECTS
Anti-Lag Turbo Charger
Designed an Anti-Lag turbo Charger which removes the Fire spitting from the Exhaust increasing efficiency and making the vehicle economic without compromising the power.
Made a 3D Assembly of the model in SolidWorks and ran Flow simulation on the model.
Hydraulic Power Pack
Designed a Hydraulic Power Pack with a Force Feed Attachment for a Thread Rolling Machine in HMT MACHINE TOOLS which would provide wide range of thread rolling diameters which only the heavy/pricy machinery could perform.
Succeeded in designing a 2-D model in AutoCAD.
Finite Element Analysis of Simple Supported Beam
The ingenuity of this project was to learn 3 different methods to solve the same problem and then compare the results to observe any discrepancies.
Firstly, analytical method was used to solve the given problem.
Additionally, ANSYS was used to solve the same problem to find deformed shape and von mises stress on the structure with different mesh sizes.
Subsequently, MATLAB programming was used to generate meshes and deformed shapes for each mesh size (2 by 2 Gauss quadrature was used to solve the math). A convergence study was performed at the end to establish differences in these 3 methods.
Remote Location Image Capturing Using MATLAB and Embedded Systems
Designed and constructed a wireless robot using Embedded Systems.
Created GUI in MATLAB to perform operations based on the instructions given.
Sustainable Optimization of an ELECTRIC VEHICLE Charging Micro-grid
Introduced the concept of PEV charging using a DC microgrid structure.
Implemented integer optimization using MATLAB in order to optimize the use of solar and grid power along with effective use of energy storage system.
Application of fuzzy logic for developing a supervisory control structure for controlling the overall microgrid.
Comprehensive Study on Flexibility and Automation in Food Processing Industry
The use of Automation in Food Processing Industry, specifically the Poultry, Fresh Produce, Meat and the Fast Food Industry, it's advantages and limitations and future trends. The steps (both automated and manual) included in Processing of the above mentioned food products and the scope of further automation in the existing processes.
