Working on board of RSV TOISA CORAL and RSV TOISA VIGILANT I am responsible for management of entire engine room,being responsible for all operationals and maintenance works according to PREMASTER maintenance program.Our kind of work,in both boats,is to be fully operational in DP MODE and give support to ROV operations.In both ships we have generator shaft attached to Wartsila diesel engines(6L42 in Toisa Coral and 9L56 and Toisa Vigilant),2 bow thrusters(Wartsila-Tunnel thrusters)in TCoral and TVigilant and 3 stearn thrusters(Wartsila-Tunnel thrusters)in TCoral and TVigilant,2 Kamewa Ulstein Rudder for each boat,2 Volvo Penta Auxiliary diesel engines for TCoral and 2 Caterpillar Auxiliary diesel engines for TVigilant,Kamewa RO plant(12m per day),Wartsila Sewage treatment tank(vacuum system in both boats),2 alfalaval luboil and fuel oil purifiers(1 for each system in both boats),2 Bitzer fridge compressors for both boats and 2 Hamworthy AC compressors for TCoral with 2 expansors valves and 4 AC compressors with 2 expansors valves for TVigilant.

Our mission is to keep the main engines and auxiliary equipments running 100% of the time with no offhire or downtime.

Chief Engineer Set/2012 to November2014

Working on board of OSV SEA BRASIL I am responsible for all operationals and maintenace works according to TM MASTER maintenance program related to all equipments and mechanical installations of entire engine room and deck machineries such as anchor mooring winches,capstans,tugger winches and cranes.It is also my duties to keep an adequate supply of spares parts in order to meet the maintenance requirements and facilitate a safe and efficient operation.Ensure that all staff have the experience and practices necessary to comply with the tasks assigned to them in an efficient and safe manner.To maintain control over the system of preventive maintenance,planning services of equipments according to the guidelines of TM Master program.Exercise fiscal responsability with respect to the maintenance budget.Train staff in use of preventive maintenance system to reduce erros in the system.Liaison with the Maritime Bureau in relation to load,use of fuel,drinking water and ship stability and ensure that the work permit is strictly followed in the maintenance department.I am also responsible for implementing the requirements of the audit as issued by customers,regulatory authorities or by the administration of the company.Approve all purchase orders,requirements and requisitions from the maintenance department,adressing the administration with statistics of vessel maintenance.Ensure that reports to the repair and maintenance of equipments are accurate and complete.

We have 2 Rolls Royce bow thrusters,4 Caterpillars diesel engines generators and 2 Rolls Royce azimuthal thrusters for steering.I have under my orders 1 second engineer,1 third engineer,2 motormen and 1 electrician.

Working on board of PLSV SUNRISE 2000 I am responsible for operationals and maintenance works according to Maintenance Master Program related to all equipments and mechanical installations of entire engine room.My primary duties are to organize,document and implement planned preventive maintenance and repairs procedures and schedules for 2 Wartsillas Main Engines,2 Yanmar Auxiliary Engines,4 Wartsillas Diesel Generator Engines and auxiliary equipments such as fuel oil and lub oil purifiers,water makers(evaporators and reverse osmosis),air conditioning and fridge plant,sewage system plant,oily water separator.I have under my supervision 2 second engineers,2 mechanics,2 motormen and 1 electrician.I am also responsible to fill up and update all documents and registers of the engine room such as Engine Room Log Book and Oil Record Book.

Working on board of AHTS SKANDY MOGSTER and PSV SKANDY CAPTAIN I am

responsible for all operational and maintenance works according to Tm Master Program related

to all equipments and mechanical installations of entire engine room.We have 4 Mitsubishi

diesel engines,2 Aquamaster azi thrusters and 2 aquamaster tunnel thrusters at Skandy Captain

and 2 Wartsila diesel engines with 2 shaft generators and 2 Caterpillar auxiliary diesel engines

and 2 Ulstein azi thrusers at Skandy Mogster.It is my responsibility to follow and supervisioning

the status and modus operandi of all machines,equipments and maintenance programs.It is also

my duty to guide and train all the engine room crew members about HSE best practices.I have under my supervision 1 second engineer,1 motormen and 1 electrician in both ships.

Working on board of PLSV MV RIG SUPORTER was responsible for all machines and

technical equipments during my watch,such as main diesel engines(6 wartsila diesel engines –

3 for each engine room – ship DP class 2),lub oil and fuel oil purifiers,thermal oil boilers, air

compressors,air vessels,reverse osmose water maker,vacuum sewage treatment system and

related systems.Belonging to my duties to keep up to date the engine room log book, the oil

record book and maintenance and spare parts of Synrad Program .Responsible for all schedule and not schedule maintenance works according to Synrad Vessel Control.It was my responsibility

to assure that all engine room crew was fuly aware about QHSE and HSE plan and program.

Mechanical Lider APRIL/2008 to OCTOBER/2008

Working in a Oceânica Company ship,I was responsible for a entire Wartsilla Diesel Engine

Overhaul which has included changing head cylinders,lifting up the main bearing,taken the

axial deflection,valves and combustion point regulations,changing the rings of the pistons,

housekeeping and start-up of the engine.

Working in shipyards (MauaJurong and KFelsBrasil),I have participated of construction

of two FPSO,s – P47 and P50,both to Petrobrás.I have been responsible for hydrostatics

tests in oil,water and steam pipes.Assembling,inspection and maintenance of several kinds

of equipments,such as,centrifugal and fuse pumps,oily water separator, heat exchangers,

luboil and diesel oil purifiers.Checking Catterpillar Diesel Engines runninig performances

under several operational conditions,testing all emergencies stop devices.I was, also,

responsible for commissioning the entire fire-fighting system,including start-up of the diesel

engine that runs the centrifugal pump.

Second Engineer SEPTEMBER/2003 to OCTOBER/2004

Working on board of FPSO MARLIM SUL the primary duties and responsibilities was to include but not limited to assist the chief engineer in the maintenance and operation of all equipments,machinery,main steam pressure system and all other controlling system of the vessel.Assist the engineers to organize,document and implement planned preventive maintenance and repair procedures and schedule for high pressure steam system,engines,equipment and machinery.The MARLIM SUL power plant comprises a high steam pressure boiler(60 bar pressure),two gas turbines generating at 6,6 KV and rated at 16490 KVA,two steam turbines also generating 6,6 KV and rated at 15000 KVA,two 440V diesel generators,the emergency diesel generator and essential diesel generator.She is also equipped with a UPS system .This is a dual redundant system where one unit can power the entire necessary essential and safety related system on loss of primart power generation.
