Project Description:

American Tower is a leading independent owner, operator and developer of wireless and broadcast communication real estate. US Tower Business intelligence team was in process of migrating from Cognos 8.4 to OBIEE and expanding reporting to lot more Departments in the organization. Initial stages of the project involved bringing maturity to existing environment followed by customization of BI/DWH/SITERRA APPS and setting up a new environment (CLOUD SITERRA) for end to end ETL process.

The project involved extracting data from their new source systems along with their legacy system sources EHDW (EMBLEM HEALTH DATA WAREHOUSE) and CDW (CORPORATE DATA WAREHOUSE) and loading into a Data Mart for handling the converted ICD-9 claims to ICD-10 claims. The major job involved in cleansing the data and transforming the data to the staging area then loading the data in the ODS and Data Mart for analyzing performance and claims handling at various stages.
