I am a well-rounded Developer with Java knowledge and over two years experience interested in the advertized Software Developer position. My experience has been mainly in full stack development and troubleshooting on live applications and I am eager to further build my skill set. Most of all, I truly care about my work, take pride in the details and communicate with my team to get the job done. I am a firm believer in version control software (e.g. CVS) and documentation. Further, I am very comfortable in a Linux/Unix environment.

As for my experience, at i-Sight, as a Full-Stack Web Application Developer of case management systems, I used Java, Javascript, HTML, XPages, Domino, SOAP (creating users in a secondary database) and some NodeJS as well as provided development support for live applications. There I demonstrated my strong trouble-shooting skills, adaptability and resourcefulness.

For Health Canada, I worked on two large scale real-time application systems that tracked and backed-up national health data. There, I worked in a J2EE environment using Oracle relational databases with roles ranging from replacing legacy code with Jquery, being Lead Tester and doing bug reporting and fixes. I also built a database scheduler for a data mart using Oracle Scheduler.

Further, as part of my studies at Algonquin College, I led a team of students in the development of a web application for an online start-up business through the use of NodeJS, Express, Socket.io and Mongo DB. This project met the client’s needs and won the group a class award.
