Principal point of contact between Bechtel and BHP Billiton for the management and administration of the cost reimbursable EPCM contract for the Daunia Coal Mine Project. Responsibilities included administration of the Prime Contract including negotiations of changes. I managed major subcontracts in support of the project construction requirements and completion schedule. I presented all subcontract and procurement actions over $100,000 to the client’s Commercial Review Board for approval and participated on the Change Control Board. Directly reported to the Project Manager and interfaced with the client’s area managers to process changes and equitable adjustments. EPCM contract value was approximately 1.8 billion dollars.

Responsible for management and administration of MSA’s prime contract with the Department of Energy’s Hanford site. The Cost-Plus–Award Fee Services Contract supported the environmental clean-up mission at the site, with a fee structure that provided a strong financial motivation for the MSA to furnish safe, compliant, cost effective and energy-efficient services. It was a 3.1 billion dollar services/level of effort contract with a five year base period and two options for a total of ten years. As Contracts Director, I was the principal point of contact for MSA with the government, and managed a seven person Contracts Department. The Contracts Department managed contract changes by processing proposals which supported requests for equitable adjustment and other directed changes.
I was a principal negotiator for MSA.

Responsible for the administration and management of WRPS’s Tank Operations Contract, DOE, Office of River Protection at Hanford; a seven billion dollar performance-based Cost-Plus-Award Fee Contract that managed the Hanford Tank farms for the safe storage, retrieval and treatment of Hanford tank waste. Acting as the principal point of contact for all contractual matters my duties included; change management, the processing of Requests for Equitable Adjustments, participation in Baseline Change Control, processing contract deliverables, managing Interface agreements (Administrative Interface Agreements (AIA), Memorandums of Agreements (MOA) and Interface Control Documents (ICD), contract negotiations and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

Supervise personnel supporting prime contract administration and claims identification. Coordinate with other project team members to identify customer related actions or inaction’s, which could result in constructive contract changes. Manage the working relationship with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Legal and Risk Management to ensure that subcontracts and procurements contain appropriate flow down prime contract terms. Coordinated the processing of Request for Equitable Adjustment for contract changes.
