Senior National Field Systems Support Engineer
I was responsible for traveling the whole country and setting up automation lines in Hospital Labs.
I was the automation engineer who worked with the lab and mechanically staged and wired all of the automation line I was installing.
I worked very close with the project manager and the customer to ensure that they had a successful automation line installation.
Beckman Coulter Inc
Clinical Systems Engineer/Technical Leader/Senior Engineer I was responsible for many of the districts managerial type duties: I scheduled and orchestrated the On-Call and Holiday rotation for the District. I also scheduled the monthly Preventative Maintenance's for the area, and tracked the MODS for the district as well.
I have acted as the New England South Technical Leader in Hematology for over eight years. I was promoted to the title of Senior Engineer in a little under five years of service with the company.
I have worked very closely with District Managers, Jose Rivera, Ed Masley, and Tom Ryan to improve my business astuteness and training.
I have attended several Fred Pryor seminars to improve my inter-personal business skills and to improve my customer interaction attributes.
I also act as the Regional Computer Specialist for the District, and was the Regional Superuser/Oracle trainer for most of the New England districts. I continue to improve my Computer and PDA skills which will ultimately help the North East Managerial team to improve their knowledge and understanding of the new Oracle system. I also worked on a Northeast Video Training Database which will help to improve the progress and understanding of computer related applications for the Northeast region within the Company.
I have also trained more than 150 engineers and new hires with Beckman Coulter on how to use Oracle and trained them in all aspects of Field Service usage for Oracle. Lastly, I worked with my local National Product Specialist, Fred Salvati, to implement a 3 day class for engineers to help improve their first call Effectivity. I taught a total of 3 classes in the NJ Vision Center which helped many new engineers to improve their first call effectivity.
