Job Responsibilities:
Co-ordination with Production & Quality dept. For movement of raw materials for fabrication shop and specified works given by HOD.
Inspection of Piping,Equipments,Structures for Large Refineries, Petrochemical complexes.
Monitoring NDT Technicians at site, allocation of jobs to NDT Technicians, day to day follow up of inspectors regarding work and site problems.
Monitoring in line checking, regarding completion of weld summary sheets, NDT requirement, mark-up drawings, as-built drawings, getting test-packs cleared for Hydro-testing in order to meet challenging deadlines
Co-ordinating with the client for day to day activities and also combined line check with QC inspectors and getting test-packs signed off.
Monitoring compilation of final documentation for handing over to client, as per requirement.
Inspection of weld consumables with the stores department.
Inspection of in-coming project material with material department.
In-process Welding inspection as per approved quality Inspection plan & Drawings, Inspection of incoming raw materials for fabrication shop and review of Material Test Certificates, drawings & other documents before production.
Witnessing, reviewing & specifying the PQR & WPS, WPQT in accordance with specific requirement of company.
Material receiving & quality checking like MTC, SPC, and MSA.
Follows inspection and test plan for the welding works and carries out the various stage inspections.
Visual inspection of welds joints as specified in approved drawing.

Rejected radiographic films is interpreting prior to repair and coordinate with the welders for the exact defects location as well as the extent of repair to be done, with approved repair procedure.
Applied testing techniques utilizing Visual, Eddy Current, Dye Penetrant, Acoustic Emissions, Dimensional, Magnetic Particle, Condition Monitoring (Vibration Analysis & Infrared Thermography).
Calibrated and recorded dimensional measurements on incoming and outgoing parts.
