oLeadership in the execution of the Permit to Work process ensuring that systems are established, documented, and updated.
oResponsible for the Permit to Work interface with Construction at Mechanical Completion, the direct ownership of the Permit to Work system during Commissioning (Static & Dynamic), and transitioning to the Operations Permit to Work System.
oCoach and mentor Permit to Work Officers and Isolation Authorities
oEnsuring PTW work packs are reviewed and issued within the stated timeframes
oEnsuring that Isolations are implemented and verified within stated timeframes
oProvide overall permit to work coordination and expertise during Commissioning (Static & Dynamic), and Start Up of facilities.
oHas many critical relationships including but not limited to PTW Officers, Isolation Authorities, Person in Charge, Area authorities (all disciplines), Permit holders and Safety Manager.
oMonitors preparation, planning and execution of permit to work activities.

oPermit to work specialist on the Chevron Jack St. Malo project. PTW department is charged with permit control, and lock out tag out over all crafts and trades on modules and hull.
oDaily operations include intake of proposed permits, issuing permits for daily operations, and suspension of active permits.
