ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Performance, Analysis and Simulation of Wind Energy Conversion System Connected With Grid (Instructor: Prof. Kaushik Rajashekara)
Built a system of PMSG based wind energy conversion system integrated with grid with two back to back connected converters with a common DC link in Matlab Simulink. Simulated the control part to make the whole system effectively and analyzed the output voltages waveform in different wind inputs. Designed power distribution, grounding, wire and protection device. Developed and maintain schematics. Current Mode Buck Regulator Project (Instructor: Prof. Hoi Lee)
Designed a current-mode buck regulator using 0.35um CMOS process with autoCAD. When input voltage varying from 2.7v to 4.2v, a stable 2v output voltage were achieved. The close loop control system concluded current sensor, comparator, ramp amplifier, error amplifier, pulse width generator. Finally got 92% efficiency. Design of Sliding Mode Control in Power Converter (Instructor:Prof.Babak Fahimi)
Designed a sliding-mode control of a buck-boost converter with a compensating network for voltage regulation using MatLab Simulink. Got an ideal output with the controller. And the state vector rapidly reached the discontinuity surface and then slides to the equilibrium point.
