•Manage the scheduling of all maintenance tasks in a high speed production environment to cover over 850 assets and 410 PMs. Work closely with groups of production, maintenance and management staff to creatively solve problems of both short term and long term issues.

•Implemented the use of new CMMS software and mobile input devices for all maintenance work, work requests, purchasing and parts approval. Use this new system to assist in reaching plant goals for reducing unplanned downtime and losses due to parts and labor discrepancies.

•Coordinate with production management to prioritize maintenance work in order to maintain high OEE while assuring that the safety of all plant personnel comes first.

•Provide leadership and direction to three maintenance shifts of 21 employees and supervisors. This includes training, managing conflict, team building, measuring performance and understanding diverse viewpoints.

•Manage parts department containing over 2 million dollars in parts to ensure asset quantities meet demand within budget limits while also converting parts purchasing to SAP inventory system.

•Extensive traveling to other plants in the U.S. to assist in CMMS software update implementation by providing training, writing SOP materials and helping other plant managers develop data collection and reporting systems.

•Develop plant predictive maintenance system and mentor technicians through a paradigm shift of firefighting issues to a mindset of predicting/preventing failures. This included implementing the use EU Systems Inc. ultrasonic testing equipment and training technicians of how to test for air leaks and predict bearing failures.

•Work with corporate Operational Excellence group to gather data to create OPLs, SOPs in order to establish a visual work place production environment that would provide a safer for efficient training path for new employees.

•I led root cause analysis problem solving groups incorporating personal from all areas of the plant to troubleshoot both maintenance and production issues.

•Daily working with teams of people, who represent 27 different countries, and seek to reach consensus on ideas to address a common goals while seeking and including as many diverse opinions as possible.
