about hospice benefits, regulations and eligibility. Regularly interacted with facility staff,

for managing a multi-county territory and obtaining referrals, with emphasis being placed
on earlier admission so that families and patients may obtain their maximum hospice
benefit. Created and presented Continuing Education Units (CEUs) hospital staff, skilled

I was responsible for coordinating and completing patient admission process, from
assessment of appropriateness per Medicare guidelines to start of care. Position involved
marketing and community relations responsibilities, including networking with skilled
nursing facilities, health care facilities, hospitals and physician groups. I promoted and
presented various CEU seminars to healthcare professionals at hospitals, healthcare
facilities, and other community agencies. Our community relations team focus was to
provide excellent customer service which led to widespread territory development and an
