Undergraduate Project, “Design of FIXTURE TO TEST COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION”, 2014
The main aim of the project is to design and develop a simple fixture at low cost to test the coefficient of friction between currency notes.
We designed a Fixture plate which can generate accurate friction readings to calculate by using CAD Tool, Pro-E 2013.
Analyzed the design component in Analysis Tool, ANSYS
Documented the different phases of the project in detail using Microsoft Word Course Project, “Evaluation and Prevention of elbow injuries in Baseball pitchers”, 2015
Formulated the mathematical calculations involved in the force evaluation on elbow during baseball pitching in MATLAB.
Used AnyBody (CAE Biomechanical simulation tool) and the formulations from MATLAB to simulate the mechanics of the elbow while throwing the baseball.
Exported AnyBody data as input to Finite Element models and obtained results on individual elbow and shoulder forces, joint forces and moments.
