Conducting the welding procedure qualification tests & Welder performance qualification tests for butt joints, Corrosion resistant / hard facing weld overlays, tube to tube plate joints & hot tapping.
Involving in the welding and imparting training to welders about the processes & techniques.
Monitoring stage wise welding jobs including pre-heating, post heating & PWHT (post weld heat treatment).
Handling troubleshooting, failure analysis, root cause analysis & metallurgical evaluations.
