Being a Production Engineer, I'm responsible for Overall Administration & Operations of all Factories Management.
Company owned 3 manufacturing units for Frequency controlled product units, Strategic Electronics business unit for aerospace and defence sector, Electronics Manufacturing service unit.

– To analyze the Contributing factor for good ageing of the device
Metohdology : Data analysis using Gauge R & R Study:

– Avoid multiple times analysis on failed parts to find the root cause
– Avoid wrong declaration due to measurement error.
– To find the Major Contributing factor for Ageing & CM performance
2 ) PCBA Handling

– Currently Assembly stage rejection due to component damage,pad lift and
improper storage and handling of PCBA is around 5~6% (Specifically in
Amplifier PCBA)
Target:
– To reduce the rejection rate from5~6%to less than 1%due to above issues.
– Methodology followed : PDCA
Advantages :
– Rejection due to component damage in OCXO assembly area will be reduced.
– Mechanical stress on components will be eliminated.
– Reduced rework time and improve the Reliability of component/product.
– Reduced PCBA scrap due to Pad Lift.
