Created and implemented remedial fitness programs, to aid in the successful completion of the Army Physical Fitness Test by no less than thirty individuals, as well helping them meet BMI standards.

TRAINING

Assumed responsibilities as the non-commissioned officer in charge of the Army’s component in the Richmond Medical Examiner’s Office located in Virginia. Throughout this duty assignment I assisted in over two hundred autopsies, while also training my eight team members, four classes of soldiers in training, and four classes of officer mortuary familiarization.

I am experienced in observation, integration, interrogation, and the qualitative coding into categories of the data gained through such methods.

MORTUARY AFFAIRS SPECIALIST UNITED STATES ARMY FEBRUARY 2005- FEBRUARY 2013

I served as a mortuary assistant in the recovery, transportation, identification, and interment of human remains; read and indicated the location of graves on maps, sketches, or overlays; determined the recovery locations; recorded identification characteristics, including post mortem fingerprinting and skeletal or dental charts; operated cameras and x-ray systems, assisted in burials, excavation of graves, and the maintenance of cemeteries.

I recovered, identified, and processed human remains and their personal effects at disaster sites as well as within communities. I provided technical evaluation and data, so as to validate the personal identification process. We also designed cemetery facilities and directed the funeral activities.
