Took over as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) ECHS Polyclinic, Wardha District w.e.f 01st August 2014.
The Scheme (ECHS) aims to provide allopathic medicare to Ex-servicemen pensioner and their dependents through a network of ECHS Polyclinics spread all over India. The Scheme has been structured on the lines of CGHS to ensure cashless transactions, as far as possible, for the patients and is financed by the Govt of India. www.echs.gov.in may please be visited for elaborate narrative.
Medicare facility is provided by this office to all the ex-servicemen of Wardha District. As the ECHS Polyclinic at Yavatmal District (Maharashtra) is presently not functional, all the ex-servicemen of Yavatmal District are also rendered medicare from ECHS Polyclinic, Wardha.
Total of 2724 ex-servicemen (Wardha Distt-1524, Yavatmal Distt-1200), which include 962 Widows (Wardha Distt - 362, Yavatmal Distt - 600): are given medicare from ECHS Wardha Polyclinic; in other words two districts are handled singlehandedly.
ECHS Wardha Office comprises of OIC (Self), Medical Officer – 1, Nursing Assistant – 1, Laboratory Assistant – 1 and Sub Staff – 5. A dedicated Ambulance is available to cater for EMERGENCIES.

As per the Reserve Bank of India norms and statutory requirement of Inspection & Audit Dept, conducted Fire-Exit Drill at a frequency of once a year. Full contingent of Hyderabad Fire Brigade was in attendance. Evacuation of causality and use of Fire –Extinguisher demonstrated. Staff including top Executives participated with keen interest and were immensely motivated to handle fire-emergency not only in bank premises but anywhere outside too.
Day-to-day office administration and establishment functions accomplished. Carried out recruitment and also empanelment of vendors and service providers.
Accurate preparation of administrative and financial control returns submitted to Corporate Office.
Flawless support to the Top-management as regards travel plan, ticketing, transport, hotel-booking.
Achievements
Instrumental in internal layout of the Special Currency Administration Branch (SCAB), Koti, Hyderabad from the point of view Branch Manager’s visual as well as administrative control not only on staff working under him but also in / out movement of cash. Further all security (alarm system, CCTV, Biometrics, Time-lock) and fire safety gadgets were planned, procured, installed and commissioned successfully. The SCAB is highly sensitive for reasons of its cash holding amounting to Rs 3000 crores plus which may have gone up by now.

GITC is a very sensitive establishment of SBI, an IT-Hub and houses Central Data Centre for the entire Bank, a prominent target of terrorist-attack.
Besides functions reported above, at GITC carried out effectively administrative functions, implemented physical, manual and electronic (digital) security. Was involved in tendering, procurement, installation and commissioning phases coupled with financial approvals and allied payments.
GITC has colony of residential accommodation, located at Nerul (about 5 Km from Belapur), spread over 25 acres of land. It has a four high rise buildings and ground floor quarters, totaling to 850 quarters. The Estate responsibility as regards water, electricity, flora & fauna, upkeep of premises and related facility aspects were handled successfully.
Conducted Fire-Exit Drill as per statutory norms. Full contingent of Belapur Fire Brigade was in attendance. Evacuation of causality and use of Fire –Extinguisher demonstrated to one and all present.

MMB is an iconic heritage building, more than 125 years old. In the period specified above, on an average cash holding of MMB was to the tune of Rs 13.5 billion and gold holding was to the tune of 200 Kg plus. On daily basis, only cash transaction across counters and inflow / outflow of cash remittances e.g. from Reserve Bank of India and cash to customers or neighboring branches was of the order of 100 crores plus. Mammoth responsibility of overseeing all administrative arrangements coupled with manual security (armed guards), physical security (fitness of cash vans), electronic security (alarm system), communication system (walky-talky, GPS) was handled flawlessly and without any mishap.
Allied administrative arrangements emerging on account of above task e.g. manpower planning, fitness of weapons (arms), mechanical (vehicles) and electronic equipments, vendor supervision to ensure maintenance of equipments was attended consistently ensuring zero failure while completing the captioned task.
