Positional Summary

Pre Planning – Responsible for developing estimate for project, attend design meetings, develop cost/work breakdowns, identify schedulable tasks, baseline manpower projections, create cost estimate summary, develop execution plan, develop field installation work packages, develop productivity analysis tools, write inclusions/exclusions letter, prepare all deliverables required for project to include but not limited to: Mobilization plan, site layout plan, project schedule organizational chart, equipment plan, HSE plan, project controls plan, quality control plan, waste management plan, demobilization plan, traffic coordination plan and work execution plan.

Project Controls – Responsible for management and submittal of modifications and

clarifications within the project. Responsible for addressing schedule, fiscal, constructability, specification and code issues utilizing the RFI-PCR process.

Estimating – Integral portion of the preplanning activity, I would develop an estimate to the widget level, to include breakdowns by discipline, location, drawing, activity, activity elements, construction phase, and schedulable tasks. Estimates were used as foundation in preplanning activities pertaining to execution, schedule and cost breakdown.

Field Engineer – In addition to duties performed for project controls also responsible for material issues, verification of OS&D, turnover project separated out by system and sub-system, develop redlines and provide constructability advice.

Electrician – Interpret and follow prints to construction. Read and review scope of work. Formulate a plan for that scope of work. Installation of transformers, load banks, MCC, Programmable Logic controllers (PLC’s), Instrument Transfer Boxes (ITB), Control Transfer Boxes (CTB), Power distribution panels, Relay Panels, Heat Trace, lighting systems, grounding and bonding systems, control station, HVAC system controls, marshalling panels, Fire and Gas systems, generators, heaters, battery chargers, battery systems, alarm systems, motors, trenching, conduit, cable tray and raceway systems. Work in both hazardous and non classified locations. Certified in fall arrest, confined space entry, and other safety awareness training. Operate equipment such as manlift, boom truck, forklift, zoom boom, and skid steer.

Instrument tech – Interpret and follow prints, data sheets and P&ID’s. Installation of flow, level, pressure, differential pressure and temperature elements and transmitters. Tubing and installation of Fire and Gas systems, HALON distribution, Gas detectors, smoke detectors, ionization detectors and warning lights. Tubing for various valves, actuators and solenoids, along with associated instrument air. Installation of tube trace, injection quills, pressure relief valves, chemical and pressure boost vessel. Pressure testing tubing utilizing nitrogen or oil mediums.

Computer - Installation and configuration of routers, switches, repeaters, microwave connections, gateways, gatekeepers, win 2000 servers. Well versed in most every software available. Maintenance and configuration of virtual private networks, web servers, file servers, RAID’s, videoconference systems, printers, handheld devices. Experience in data recovery and extraction, including corrupt hard drives, email, data mining and system restoration. Work with various physical topologies such as token ring, star, line and bus. Work with TCP/IP DHCP and static, Banyan Vines, Active Directory, Telnet/Hyperterminal.
